Skyfall

I guess the genesis of my photography career probably began in Great Langdale. In winter, which was always my favourite time of year for landscape photography, I could get several buses there from the Furness peninsula and still be half way up Bowfell before first light the surrounding fells.

It’s a valley where I honed my craft and has shaped the rest of my photography career. Thankfully, I have since earnt enough from photography to avoid public transport, as those bus journeys weren’t all that much fun.

All of which is a tenuous link to me now being in a position to photograph nice houses in Langdale, which have the kind of views I would have killed to just wander into the kitchen and not spend 3 hours on buses for. Here’s Skyfall.
